Crafting

Open the bag and switch to the Craft tab. Pick a recipe on the left; if you have everything, press Craft. A green dot means you can make it now.

• Crafting doesn't need a workbench.
• If your bag is full, the result is dropped at your feet.
• Weapons you craft go into your bag. Equip them from the Bag tab.

Where the materials come from

• Logs: chop trees with an axe.
• Planks: craft them from logs, or smash wooden things. See Breaking things.
• Nails: workbenches, toolboxes and crates.
• Metal: scrap metal things with a pickaxe: cars, bins, dumpsters, streetlights.
• Scrap metal: craft it from metal, or find it in TVs, toolboxes and trash.
