Added
- Co-op for up to 4 players. Open your world to friends and survive Maple Hollow together.
- Join codes. Tap Host My World to get a 4-letter code; friends tap Join and type it in.
- Your gear goes with you. Your bag, weapons and vitals come with you into a friend's world, and come home when you leave.
- Colored jackets and name tags for each player, so you can tell who's who.
- Friends on the minimap, plus a light around each player at night.
- Shared world. Zombies, loot, trees, rocks, dropped items and wood boxes are the same for everyone.
- Zombies go after the nearest living player. Friends can pull a horde off you.
- More players, more zombies. The horde grows with each friend who joins.
- Accounts. Create one or sign in from the title screen or the Play With Friends menu.
- Cloud save. While you're signed in, progress backs up to dayfell.com about every minute and whenever you leave the app.
- Pick up on a new phone. Sign in and the newest save loads automatically.
- Respawn next to your host if you go down in a friend's world.
- Co-op code in the top bar shows the join code and player count. Tap it to see who's playing.
- The host needs to keep the game open. If the host switches apps for more than about 45 seconds, friends are sent back to their own worlds.
- Everyone needs a free account to play co-op.
Changed
- New title screen button: Play With Friends. The footer shows who you're signed in as.
- The pause menu has a co-op option: host, see your code, or leave.
- While hosting, the world keeps running when you pause, so your friends aren't frozen.
- The game now needs internet permission, but only for accounts, cloud save and co-op. Solo play still works offline.
Fixed
- The game loop could stall on slow phones if a frame fired before everything had loaded.

- Explore: a suburban street at dusk with the full game controls on screen: health and stamina bars, day clock, minimap, joystick, quick-item bar, and Attack / Use / Roll / Bag buttons.
- Inside a house: the roof lifts off when you walk in. Searching a cabinet takes a couple of seconds and makes noise.
- The bag: a grid inventory with a weight limit and equipped slots. The last row stays locked until you find a bigger backpack.
- Region map: the chain of maps, with Map 01 open and the rest locked.
- Map: one neighbourhood with three streets and a park. Eight houses and the Hollow Market can be entered; the ninth is boarded up for now. You can also search outdoors: trash cans, crates, car trunks and a dumpster.
- Bag: 20 slots and a 20 kg limit. You can eat, drink, heal, swap weapons and pin items to the quick bar. A hiking pack in the market's back room gives you 4 more slots and 10 kg more
- Survival: health, stamina, hunger and thirst. A full day takes 24 minutes of play, and nights get dark with streetlights.
- Zombies: four kinds. They follow you through doors, and you fight them with a bat or a lead pipe you can find.
- Saving: the game saves itself, and Continue on the title screen picks up where you left off.
- When you die, you wake up at the start and keep your bag. I picked the gentler option since we hadn't settled this yet.
